Condition: near fine with slight shelf wear and usual toning of paper. Corners sharp. Dust jacket with slight edge creases, but taught and without any tears. First state jacket without Booker Prize references.

‘Wolf Hall’ has won the Man Booker Prize in 2009, National Book Critic Circle Award, and the Walter Scott Prize. The story was adapted as a TV-series by the BBC starring Mark Rylance and Damian Lewis winning the Golden Globe Award for the Best Miniseries. It was also adapted for the theatre stage as well as for Broadway. The sequel novel, ‘Bring Up the Bodies’ (2012) also won the Man Booker Prize making Mantel one of only three writers (along Peter Carey and JM Coetzee) to have won the Booker twice. The concluding book ‘The Mirror and the Light’ is forthcoming.
