Stephen King (1984) ‘The Eyes of the Dragon‘, US signed limited edition, published by the Philtrum Press. Illustrated by Kenneth R. Linkhauser. One of only 250 copies numbered in red, being no. 241, signed and inscribed to Jim French: “For Jim French – hope you’ll like this little story and I also hope you have the happiest holiday season ever – with best Stepehn King 12/6/84”.

The copies numbered in red rarely come up for sale as they were reserved to people close to Stephen King. Most of them are still in possession of those individuals.
‘The Eyes of the Dragon’, written for King’s daughter Naomi was originally published by King’s own Philtrum Press as a limited edition in 1984 before Viking published the tale as a mass market hardback with new illustrations by David Palladini.
