Stephen King (1978) ‘The Stand‘, US first edition, first printing, published by Doubleday. Signed and inscribed by King on the ffep in 1982: “For John – with good wishes, Stephen King 10/30/82”

Condition: book is near fine for the most pedantic of judges, in a very good first state dust jacket. There is no lean; the boards are clean, the corners sharp; and book is clean throughout without any further inscriptions. No foxing. The first state dust jacket shows the correct price of $12.95. Slight rubbing to the jacket as shown. All first edition issue points present: “First Edition” printed on the copyright page and T39 gutter code on page 823 as called for.

Adapted as a TV-seris in 1994, and once more in 2019/20 to be aired soon. Considered by many King fans as his best novel.
