Clive Staples Lewis (1956) ‘The Last Battle‘, UK first edition, first printing, published by Bodley Head. The last volume in the seminal seven books strong Chronicles of Narnia.

Condition: a near fine book in a very good duat jacket. No previous owner’s scribbles, no bookplates, no stamps. Internally clean. Usual slight foxing to prelims. The dust jacket is NOT pricle clipped. Moderate edge wear including slight chipping to spine and a tear. Usual foxing to white are of the reverse panel. This seems to have affected almost all specimen.

The Narniad is one of the best known and loved children book of all time. Lewis, a contemporary of JRR Tolkien, has immortalised himself with this fantasy tale for children.
