Roald Dahl (1989) ‘Rhyme Stew‘, UK first edition, first printing, published by Jonathan Cape. Signed and inscribed by Roald Dahl on the ffep with the typical ‘Love’ added.

Condition: a near fine copy in like dust jacket. Usual ghosting of Dahl’s signature on the pastedown on dust jacket’s flap. Two light knocks to rear board. Page block white. No foxing, no previous owner’s inscriptions, no bookplates, no stamps. A nice copy of a rare signed Dahl title.

One of the scarcest Dahl signed first editions. The book was published in late 1989. Roald Dahl died in November 1990. Few signed first edition copies ever come on the market.
