Signed and inscribed by both, Stephen King, and Peter Straub: “For Raenna and Richard – all best, Stephen King 11/15/84” & “For Raenne + Richard – with every good wish – Peter Straub, 11/15/84”. Condition: a very good copy in like dust jacket. No previous owner’s inscriptions, no stamps, no bookplates. The bottom of the front board is a bit faded, and the rear board shows ghosting from the dust jacket. The dust jacket is faded on the spine as shown The front colours of the wrapper are also slightly faded visible on the ‘Talisman’ lettering which is not as intensely yellow as the rear of the wrapper.

A collaboration between the two masters of horror. Nominated for the Locus and World Fantasy Award in 1985. A film adaptation id in the works. Both authors wrote the sequel Black House (2001).
