Fleming, Ian (1963) ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service‘, UK uncorrected proof. Reportedly one of only 500 printed copies. Not all copies will have survived the passage of time since in the old days proofs were usually discarded after reading.

Condition: a good copy with no inscriptions. The wraps have some edge wear (rubbing) and soiling as shown. A few pages inside have stains. THe worst example is shown in our last image. The vast majority of pages are absolutely clean with no issues. No previous owner’s bookplates, no inscriptions, no stamps.
