Kazuo Ishiguro (1989) ‘The Remains of the Day’, UK signed first edition, first printing published by Faber and Faber. A landmark novel read in schools and for English degrees at universities. Winner of the 1989 Booker Prize. Filmed in 1993 starring Sir Anthony Hopkins and Emma Thompson which in turn was nominated for eight Academy Awards.

Condition: very good. Previous owner’s name neatly written on the ffep. Two smudges on the side page block edges, otherwise a very good, tight copy. Dust jacket is not price clipped, but a slightly faded on the spine.
