Alan Moore (1986), ‘Watchmen‘ #1 (issue number one), published in September 1986. A first print, signed by writer Alan Moore and by artist David Gibbons on page 6. In addition, issues 2 through 12 (the complete ‘Watchemen’) as first prints, unsigned.

Condition: very little edge wear, and slight rubbing to the rear cover. Otherwise excellent throughout with white pages.

‘Watchmen’ is regarded as one of the best comics of all time and certainly the best of the Modern Age. Moore has created unique and memorable super-heroes, whilst breathing new life into the genre, providing a comment on the Cold War and pushing boundaries what comics can achieve.
