Condition: a near fine copy in like dust jacket. There are no previous owner’s inscriptions, no bookplates, no stamps. One bookseller ticket at the rear pastedown as was common back in the day. Internally clean. No foxing to page block. Boards square and tight. The lettering on the spine fresh and vibrant. The iconic dust jacket has benefited from light restoration work to the folds and now presents in fine condition.

The Day of the Triffids reignited and launched the author’s science fiction writing career. It was adapted into the 1962 horror film and has also seen further radio and TV adaptations.
