Rowling, J.K. (2000) ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’, UK signed first edition printed by Omnia

J.K. Rowling (2000) ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’, UK first edition, first printing, published by Bloomsbury, printed by Omnia. Signed without further inscriptions on the dedication page. The print run for ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’ was 750,000 copies. Most of them were printed by Clays, and about a third by Omnia. In 2000 J.K. Rowling embarked on her last big UK promotional tour and most events were held in London (four) and then along the special Hogwarts Express train tour. Finding a signed Omnia first edition is significantly more difficult than finding a Clays version as it appears that only one event was scheduled in Scotland where the Omnia issue was printed.

Condition: near fine with only slight shelf wear. No lean, no previous owners’ inscriptions inside the book whatsoever. Slight ageing/ yellowing of the page block due to the poor quality paper stock used.

The fourth volume in the seminal Harry Potter series which took the book world by storm igniting Potter-mania amongst kids who could not get enough of Harry and his adventures at Hogwarts. Adapted as a blockbuster film in 2005.
