Boccaccio, Giovanni (1969) ‘Decameron‘ published by the Folio Society in 1969 as a Special Leather Bound Edition.

Production details: Full cream hide, hand marbled endpapers, gold tops and head bands. Similar strap-work design in blind and gold on spine and boards. Cloth covered slipcase. Translation by Richard Aldington.

Condition: essentially fine. No scratches, or damage to the leather, and paper is white like new. Internally clean with no marks or inscriptions.

Upon publication in 1969 the price was 15 Pounds and 15 Shillings, or USD 38, which corresponds to roughly GBP250 in todays money as of 2016. Our price takes into account the scarcity and demand of the set.
