Peter Benchley (1974) ‘Jaws‘, UK first edition, first printing published by Andre Deutsch. Included is a plate with Benchley’s hand signed signature and a drawing of a shark (how apt!).

Condition: book is near fine with no inscription or foxing whatsoever. Slight toning to page block, otherwise a very collectable copy. The dust jacket is near fine with only the slightest crease to the edges, and no fading, not price clipped.

A landmark thriller which eventually sold over 20 million copies world wide, and launched Steven Spielberg’s career with the famous film adaptation in 1975 which became a summer blockbuster and highest grossing movie until Star Wars came along.
