Roberto Bolaño (2008) ‘2666’, US first edition, first printing, published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux. Signed by the translator Natasha Wimmer. No copies exist with a signature of Roberto as he died before his masterpiece was published. The book won the National Book Critics Circle Award, and Wimmer was shortlisted for the Best Translated Book Award.
One of the best literary novels of all time. Bolaño surely would have won the Nobel Prize if he had not died at the tender age of 50.
