Agatha Christie (1930) ‘The Mysterious Mr Quin’, UK first edition, first printing, published by W. Collins. Signed by the author via a loosely inserted bookplate.

Condition: a good copy with decent boards but the spine is dulled and has a 2.5cm tear to the head of the spine affecting the title. Internally with no previous owners’ scribbles, no bookplates and no stamps. Scattered ageing spots to first few leaves but internally generally clean. No dust jacket.

This is a very scarce first edition of Christie’s third short story collection. Originally published in April 1930 in the UK with the unusual dedication to the fictional character.
