Roald Dahl (1975) ‘Danny, the Champion of the World‘, UK first edition, first printing, published by Jonathan Cape. Signed by Dahl on the front free endpaper: “Love, Roald Dahl”.

Condition: a near fine copy in a very good dust jacket. The book has no previous owner’s inscriptions, is clean throughout. The slightest of shelf wears (slight lean). The dust jacket is correctly priced at £2.25 net, is slightly faded on the spine, and has been  permanently laminated.

The story was adapted as a TV film starring Jeremy Irons and his son Samuel in 1989. One of Dahl’s best.
