Ian Fleming (1965) ‘The Man with the Golden Gun‘, UK Jonathan Cape uncorrected proof copy with the original proof dust jacket.

Condition: very good. The wraps are clean and have reatined their original colour. No scribbles of any sorts, no foxing, no underlinings, no corrections inside. Spine lean, but otherwise a nice copy. The dust jacket is the correct proof jacket with teh words ‘Proof Only’ and ‘provisional publication date’ printed on the flap. It is also in very good condition with some edge wear at the bottom and top of spine (short tears and minor chipping).

Some 600 proof copies were printed of which very few will have survived the passage of time especially with the dust jacket.
