Production details according to the publisher:

The Voyage of the Bounty Launch is a wonderfully descriptive account by John Fryer, Master of the Bounty, of the mutiny and subsequent voyage in the open boat, after being cast adrift with Bligh by Christian and his fellow mutineers.

This beautifully produced limited edition book is a facsimile of the manuscript held in the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich. It is hand-sewn and half bound in calf leather with marbled boards and sprinkled page edges (the deluxe version in bound in full leather by Zaehnsdorf). The facsimile is accompanied by a 42-page introductory text by Stephen Walters, the authority on the life of Bligh.

‘I saw on the ladder going up Mr Bligh in his shirt and trousers with his hands tied and Christian hold of him. The Master of Arms then came to my cabin and took a brace of pistols saying I will take care of these.’ John Fryer, from his narrative
