Condition: a near fine book in a good dust jacket which has chips and minor losses to the extremities and shows moisture stain to the bottom. The actual book is in good shape for its age.

Yuri Gagarin was the first man in space with the Soviet Vostok spacecraft on 12 April 1961. Gagrin died as a result of a MiG plane crash in 1968 at the tender age of 34. This is an amazing piece of history and testimony of the US-Soviet space race during the Cold War. Regardless of the political background Gagarin was a hero and pioneer of human achievement. Very few signed Gagarin books come up for sale!
