Günter Grass (1965) ‘Dog Years‘ (German: ‘Hundejahre’), US first edition, first printing, published by Harcourt Brace & World. Signed and inscribed by the author: ‘Für Elias Kanner, Günter Grass’. The third volume in the Danzig trilogy, translated by Ralph Manheim.

Provenance: obtained by us from a professional auction house in New York. We have acquired a few books signed by Nobel Prize winning authors which were signed or inscribed for Elias Kanner.

Condition: a near fine copy with slight shelf wear to the book. The dust jacket is very good with tape fortification on the edges. Price no clipped, but a 1.00 has been written underneath.
