Ernest Hemingway (1929 [1930]) ‘Introduction to Kiki of Montparnasse‘. New York: Edward W. Titus at the Sign of the Black Manikin. One of only 25 stapled sheets printed to secure the copyrights. Housed in custom folding cloth chemise with black morocco cover label lettered in gilt.

Condition: fine with one soft crease to the rear wrap.

Published on 22 January 1930. Kiki (Alice Ernestine Prin) was a model and muse for many of the writers and artists living in Paris in the 1920s. Hemingway‘s introduction to her book was printed in an edition of 25 copies to secure an American copyright.
