Condition: near fine. An unread copy. Clean throughout. A whiff of foxing to top page block edges and a little (minimal) shelf wear. Dust jacket is first state without the Booker flash, not faded on the spine with a little wear as pictured. A beautiful copy of the most defining if not best novel by the 2017 Nobel Prize winner.
Kazuo Ishiguro is on of Britain’s best writers of the past three decades. He has been accoladed multiple times and is read in schools and universities as part of an English degree. ‘The Remains of the Day’ was adapted as a film starring Emma Thompson and Sir Anthony Hopkins. The 1993 movie was nominated for eight (!) Academy Awards.
