Nora Keita Jemisin (2024) ‘The Fifth Season‘, UK limited edition, published by Curious King. One of only 200 numbered copies of which this is no. 50. Signed by the author and illustrator John Anthony di Giovanni. This book is the first volume in the seminal Broken Earth trilogy. The buyer receives the rights to obtain volume two and three at publication price.

• Limited to 200 copies, the Numbered Edition is hand-bound in full cream goatskin with large blind-stamped title design on front and back covers. The rounded spine has had two passes of foil stamping and has an amethyst embedded within. Housed in a curved slipcase covered in marbled cloth by Freya Scott of Paperwilds, there are also two labels affixed to slipcase spine.
• This edition also comes with illustrated endpapers and 8 full colour plates tipped within the book.
• Printed on Munken Rough Cream 120gsm by Nomad Letterpress of Cheltenhamm bound by Ludlow Bookbinders and signed by both Author and Artist.

The Fifth Season as well as the two sequels in the Broken Earth trilogy all won the prestigious Hugo Award making it the first author to ever win the Hugo in three consecutive years. A screen adaptation is currently in development.
