Condition: a near fine book in like dust jacket. There are no previous owners’ names, scribbles, nor stamps. The book is square, the corners sharp. Light rubbing the the boards’ edges from sliding in and out of the shelf. Feels unread. A few spots to top page block, but no foxing as a whole. The fragile dust jacket has just a little of edge wear, and a crease from production around the centre of the spine across ‘Stephen King’ just underneath the title.

Collectors of the early UK Stephen King titles will know that the NEL first editions are notoriously difficult to find in nice condition. This is an outstanding copy compared with the typical condition state of this book found on the market.
