Stephen King (1986) ‘IT’, first edition, first printing, published by Viking. Signed and inscribed by King to the title page: “To Bob – All best – [Stephen King] 3/10/88”.

Condition: very good in good dust jacket. The page block is a bit detached at the top. This is quite common for this doorstopper of a novel as the quarter cloth production is not made to withstand the weight of the page block when sitting upright on the shelf. The top page block edges have some faint stains. The bottom page block edges and side look ok. Top board edges are a bit dusty. Normal shelf wear. Dust jacket has a tear as pictured and some bleeding at the reverse.

This is another cracking novel by the master of horror, and a fan favourite. Winner of the 1987 British Fantasy Award, nominated for the Locus and World Fantasy Award. Adapted as a TV mini-series in 1990, and as a movie in 2017. The 2017 box office smash raised prices considerably.
