Stephen King (2021) ‘Misery‘, UK illustrated edition, published by The Folio Society. One of only 100 copies signed by author Stephen King and illustrator Edward Kinsella via a tippe din bookplate as issued.

Condition: both book and slipcase in fine condition as shown.

Misery was originally published in 1987. Stephen King’s writing reached a new level in the mid 1980s. Having just published ‘IT‘ in 1986 King knocked out Misery a year later. Misery was adapted into one of the best King films to date starring the great Kathy Bates and James Caan. Bates won the Oscar for her 1990 performance. Interestingly there was no official limited edition upon the time of publication. However, Suntup Press in the US issued an illustrated version limited to 200 numbered an 26 lettered copies in 2018. This Folio Society edition is even scarcer in its signed variant.
