John le Carre (1989), signed first page of his novel ‘The Russia House’. This appears to be the first page of the manuscript where his name has been misspelled, so le Carre crossed out the typed name and spelled it out correctly with a ‘forgive’ in brackets added next to the correction. The bottom of the page is signed by John le Carre (David Cornwell).
