A landmark book of spy fiction. Adapted several times as a TV-series; radio show as well as a Hollywood film. This is the only signed limited edition of the title ever produced. This first instalment of the Karla trilogy, and the novel The Spy Who Came in from the Cold (1963) are the two works for which le Carré will best be remembered for.
