Lewis, C.S. (1943) ‘The Screwtape Letters’, UK first edition reprint in nice condition

Clive Staples Lewis (1943) ‘The Screwtape Letters‘, UK eleventh printing of the first edition, published in May 1943. The first print was published in February 1942.

Condition: the actual book is in really nice shape with no previous owner’s marks. A very clean paper label on the spine and clean boards. Just the usual light toning to the paper commensurate with age and light rubbing to the boards’ edges from sliding in and out of the shelf. The corresponding eleventh print dust jacket is present but is in poor shape with large sections of the spine missing as shown. However, at this price this is a steal.
