Condition: essentially fine and almost like new. There are two small flaws: 1) the front panel of the book has three shallow indentations in the leather caused by the control desk buttons of the inside box (see image 10). There are NO tears and NO scratches to the leather, just these three small pushes as shown in the picture. 2) the first three pages have creased corners as shown in image 17 of our listing. All other pages are unblemished. The two music score sheets are present. The 6 CD box exclusive to the deluxe version of the book is still sealed. The clamshell box is fine with no bumps.

  • “In 1962, as head of Parlophone Records, George Martin signed a new band from Liverpool that had been turned down by nearly every other label in Britain. The rest is history. He went on to record every track made by The Beatles and is considered to have been a vital influence on their sound, enabling them to realise their ideas as their music became increasingly ambitious. The world’s most successful music producer has now written a charming memoir of his life and career.”
