Yukio Mishima (1963) After the Banquet. UK first edition, first printing published by Secker & Warburg. Signed in English and Japanese with the inscription ‘Happy birthday to a Handsome Young Friend from [signature]’. The dedication was for James Shuttleworth, Mishima’s friend and possible lover. The book stem from the Shuttleworth family and will be accompanied by copies of the letters that state the provenance.

The condition of the book is very good with moderate foxing to the page block. The original dust jacket is near fine with vibrant colouring.
