Frederick Pohl (1977) ‘Gateway‘, UK first edition, first printing, published by Victor Gollancz. A very scarce UK hardback first edition which is NOT ex library.

Condition: near fine with just the rear corner having a bump. Otherwise fine as shown.

‘Gateway’ won the 1978 Hugo Award as well as the 1978 Nebula Award, and the 1978 John W. Campbell Memorial Award for Best Science Fiction Novel. A TV-series adaptation is in development. The few UK first edition hardback copies went mostly into libraries.
