Pratchett, Terry (1987) ‘Equal Rites’, UK signed and inscribed first edition
Terry Pratchett (1987) ‘Equal Rites‘, UK first edition, first printing, published by Victor Gollancz in association with Colin Smythe. Signed and inscribed on the title page by Pratchett: “To Roger | Even better wishes | Terry Pratchett”. The third instalment in the seminal Discworld series with a very low print run of 2,850 copies.
Provenance: From the collection of the late Roger Earnshaw, a SF and Fantasy collector who attended many conventions around the world (Novacons, Eastercons and Worldcons) where he would have ample opportunity to get his books signed.
Condition: fine with no issues. No previous owner’s scribbles, no bookplates, no stamps. Page block edges white as snow with no foxing. Boards tight and clean. Book feels unread. The dust jacket is also fine with the correct GBP 9.95 price present.
