Simmons, Dan (1989 & 1990) ‘Hyperion’ and ‘The Fall of Hyperion’, US signed first editions

Dan Simmons (1989 and 1990) ‘Hyperion’ and ‘The Fall of Hyperion’, US first edition, first printing, published by Doubleday. Both volumes are signed by the author on the title with the second volume additionally inscribed: “To Roger – | With all best wishes. | Dan Simmons”.

Provenance: from the estate of Roger Earnshaw, SF collector, well known at British conventions and fandom, who regulalr attended author events and signings.

Condition: both books are fine in like dust jackets. Unread, crisp and like new.

Hyperion won the Hugo and Locus Award. The Fall of Hyperion won the Locus Award a year later. A film adaptation is currently in development.
