J.R.R. Tolkien (1963) ‘The Lord of the Rings’, UK first editions, later printings (13/10/10), published by George Allen and Unwin in three volumes.

Condition: a near fine set as shown in the images. All three books are inscription free bar ‘The Fellowship of the Ring’ which has small initials at the top corner of the ffep. Otherwise, no inscription, no bookplates, no stamps, no underlinings, and clean throughout. maps present as called for. Red top stain is not faded. the boards are clean with no tape marks as sometimes encountered. Slight shelf wear, but nothing major. Nice, clean and correct dust jackets . Not price clipped and in near fine condition throughout with just a little shelf wear and slight  toning. A nice set priced fairly.
