The book was signed to us in person at a promotional event in Oxford on 31 May 2017. The book is illustrated with many evocative colour and pencil illustrations which bring the story to life. Edited by Christoper Tolkien.

Alan Lee is a legend in fantasy illustrations. Besides having illustrated ‘The Children of Hurin’, Alan Lee has provided the artwork for Beren and Luthien and a Lord of the Rings and Hobbit edition. Also, he has provided the conceptual art for Peter Jackson’s LotR adaptation which was filmed in New Zealand.
