Ian Fleming (1965) ‘The Man with the Golden Gun‘, UK uncorrected proof with the original proof dust jacket. Reportedly one of only 600 printed copies. The vast majority of copies will not have survived the passge of time since proof used to be discarded when their purpose was fulfilled. Even less dust jackets have been seen.

Condition: a near fine specimen. Clean and bright. The original dust jacket has ‘Proof Only’ printed on the flap as called for. The jacket is oversize, i.e. slightly larger than the book, so the top margins have a little edge wear (minor close tears).

The Man with the Golden Gun was Fleming’s 13th James Bond book.
