Cooper, Susan (2012) ‘The Dark is Rising Sequence’, signed Folio Society edition

Susan Cooper (2012) ‘The Dark is Rising Sequence’, four beautifully produced Folio Society editions (first prints), all signed on the title page by Susan at Oxford’s Pembroke College in 2017. The set consists of:

• Over Sea, Under Stone
• Greenwitch
• The Grey King
• Silver on the Tree

The second volume in the series (‘The Dark is Rising’) is missing as it has been out of print from the publisher for years.

Condition: all books are unread and like new.

Each book is produced as follows:

• Quarter-bound in buckram with Modigliani paper sides
• Printed with a design by Laura Carlin
• Set in Elysium with Clairvaux display
• Frontispiece and 7 colour illustrations
• Book Size: 9″ × 6¼”

In 2012 Susan was given the American Library Association’s ‘Margaret A. Edwards Award’ for her “significant and lasting contribution to writing for teens”, and she received the World Fantasy Award for life achievement in 2013.
