All three volumes are signed by author Jemisin, and all three books are numbers 227 out of 300 possible sets. In addition, the set comes with the book ‘How Long Til Black Future Month?’, a collection of sci-fi and fantasy short stories. It is also signed by N.K. Jemisin, and limited and number 227.
The ‘Broken Earth’ trilogy set consists of:
- ‘The Fifth Season’; winner of the 2016 Hugo Award, nominated for the Nebula, and World Fantasy Award
- ‘The Obelisk Gate‘; winner of 2017 Hugo Award, nominated for the Nebula, and World Fantasy Award
- ‘The Stone Sky‘; winner of the 2018 Hugo Award, winner of the 2018 Nebula Award
Condition: all four books are in very fine condition and unread.
Jemisin made history with this trilogy. Every single book won the Hugo Award for best novel in the year 2016-2018. Not even the likes of Robert Heinlein, Isaac Asimov or Arthur C Clarke achieved that. ‘The Stone Sky’ won both, the Hugo and Nebula Award, joining books like Frank Herbert’s ‘Dune’, Orson Scott Card’s ‘Ender’s Game’ and Ursula Le Guin’s ‘Left Hand of Darkness’. The Broken Earth trilogy is currently being developed as a TV series.
