King, Stephen (1981) ‘Cujo’, US signed first edition with unusual inscription
Stephen King (1981) ‘Cujo‘, US first edition, first printing, published by Viking. Signed and inscribed by the author: “For J.J. Flint, with all best wishes – and may your line last as long as the geosyncline itself – Be well, Stephen King, 11/30,81”. Perhaps only Stephen King and the recipient will know what is meant by the inscription, but it is an unusual inscription indeed.
Condition: a very good book in a near fine dust jacket. The bottom corners of the boards are bumped and the quarter black cloth is somewhat rubbed as shown. Otherwise a nice copy with no previous owner’s scribbles inside of any sorts. Near fine wrapper which is not clipped and shows the correct USD 13.95 price and address.
A first edition of 150,000 copies which is moderate for King standards. Filmed in 1983.
