John le Carré (1983) ‘The Little Drummer Girl‘, UK first edition, first printing, published by Hodder and Stoughton. Signed and inscribed by John le Carré (David Cornwell) on the dedication page: “and for Trevor,  John le Carré with best wishes,”.

Condition: a near fine copy for the harshest of judges. No previous owner’s scribbles inside; clean throughout, nice boards. Top stain slightly faded. Otherwise, a very beautiful copy. Dust jacket is not price clipped showing the GBP 8.95 net price as called for.

One of le Carré’s best. Adapted into a very good televsion series in 2018 where the author had a small cameo role.
