John le Carré (1989) ‘The Russia House‘, US first edition, first printing, published by Knopf. Signed and inscribed by the author on the title page: “For Antonia Gale Moss | from | John le Carré | Cornwall | 12 Feb ’96”. Signed once more on the rear flap of the dust jacket where the ink is smudged due to the glossy paper of the wrapper which does not absorb ink very well.

Condition: a very good copy with a slight slant to the page block. The cloth boards are lightly stained with a little bit of bleeding to page block. Internally clean.

Filmed in the early 1990s starring Sean Connery, Michelle Pfeiffer and Roy Scheider.
