Dan Simmons (1989) ‘Hyperion‘, US first edition, first printing, published by Doubleday. Signed and inscribed by the author on the title with a beautiful sketch added referring to the story: “For Tim – | And here the story begins…| Warmest regards – | Dan Simmons”. In addition, Simmons signed a promotional Hyperion leaflet as shown.

Condition: a fine and unread book with a tiny bump to the lower corner of the rear board. Fine and unclipped dust jacket. Scarce and highly desirable.

Hyperion won the Hugo and Locus Award. A film adaptation is currently in development.
